We are seeking to add an Emergency Veterinarian (ER DVM) to our team, with consideration for both part-time and full-time candidates. The full-time schedule typically involves three 12-hour shifts per week, while part-time options range from 8 to 12-hour shifts based on preference. Experienced overnight ER DVMs have the option to work 9 shifts per month/4-week block, with no mandatory on-call shifts. The position is located in Chattanooga, offering a scenic environment with mountains, rivers, and a thriving city, along with the benefit of no state income tax. The practice provides a diverse ER caseload with clinical autonomy, allowing veterinarians to manage unique cases. It is equipped with state-of-the-art veterinary technology, including fully equipped surgical suites with an on-site CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Other advanced equipment includes Snyder oxygen cages, canine and feline transfusions, Liga-Sur, PoliPhase sealant, and GIA staplers. The team comprises Specialists in Oncology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine, a cohesive group of seven (and growing) Emergency Clinicians, and a skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians with a 4:1 ratio to DVMs. The facility offers 24-hour monitoring care, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, an isolation ward, and a Cure for Cats Thyroid Treatment Center. The practice fosters a nurturing work atmosphere with ongoing training and development, valuing teamwork and client experience.
