About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate emergency veterinarian to join our team. Interest and ability to perform emergency surgeries is desired but not required. As an emergency veterinarian at MedVet Wilmette , you will be responsible for providing expert care to small animals in need of immediate medical attention. Our new hospital will feature state-of-the-art emergency equipment, patient rooms, and a triage area. You will work closely with our team of experienced veterinary technicians and specialists at MedVet Chicago to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Valid Illinois veterinary license
• Emergency and critical care experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong surgical skills (desired)
• Passion for providing excellent patient care
