About The Position
Lake Veterinary Clinic is expanding its well-established daytime general practice and is seeking an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian. This role involves providing essential emergency and urgent care to patients, working with a talented support team, and helping to shape the protocols and flow of this new service. Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is a trusted, community-centered clinic known for compassionate, high-quality care, offering a full suite of diagnostics, digital radiology, in-house lab capabilities, and surgical suites.
Requirements
- DVM Licensed (or eligible) in Florida
- Experience or strong interest in emergency/urgent care
- Skilled in urgent care / ER cases and surgery
- A natural leader who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Confident, compassionate, and ready to help build something new
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary Florida State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
