About The Position

Animal Emergency Hospital (AEH) is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6- to 9-month training and mentorship program (timeline dependent upon mastery of skillsets and procedures). We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at AEH. We are a 24-hour Emergency/Critical Care Practice that cares for small animals (canine/feline and some exotics). We have a skilled support staff and a pleasant working environment. Our hospital offers 15,000 sq ft with 8 exam rooms and 2 surgical suites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ER Immerse Training Program to prepare for a career in emergency medicine.
• Engage in a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components and live patient experiences.
• Work with a dedicated mentor during shifts.
• Rotate with other specialty services during the training program at nearby Ethos hospitals.
• Complete surgical training as part of the program.
