About The Position

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital (MVRH) is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 9-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at MVRH or another Boston-area Ethos hospital. Mass Vet is an elite tertiary facility in the Boston area practicing exceptional medicine. Our hospital is rooted in training, teaching and collaboration. You will have ample opportunity to grow your knowledge base and skills by working cohesively with our 35-doctor ECC department and many specialty departments, to include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Oncology, Anesthesiology and Critical Care. Many services are available 7 days a week. We believe in work-life balance, taking care of each other and helping everyone succeed.

Requirements

• Passion for emergency medicine.
• Team-oriented and reliable.
• Willingness to commit to a 2-year position as an ER clinician after training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 9-month training program in emergency medicine.
• Work with a dedicated mentor on shifts.
• Engage in a competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning and live virtual didactic rounds.
• Rotate with other specialty services during the training program.
