Emergency Technician at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour, Day shifts. The Emergency Department Technician supports the Mission and Vision of Saint John's Health Center. This is achieved in their daily responsibilities of providing direct patient care and clerical support within the Emergency Room. Performance expectations and job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Demonstrate teamwork and initiative by cooperating and interacting with physicians, physician assistants, interdepartmental staff, patients and families to maintain communication resulting in positive patient outcomes. Maintains productivity by establishing priorities and practicing cost effective methods in the delivery of care and performing assigned duties. Requirements
- Completion of EMT 1 Training program Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License OR California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License OR California Paramedic License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
