About The Position
Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is 0.6 FTE part time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually upon hire.
- 1 year relevant experience.
- Patient care or clinical experience preferred.
- Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
Nice To Haves
- Current or previous EMT
- Paramedic
- Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.
