Emergency Technician - Per Diem On-Call Variable
About The Position
Emergency Technician at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This is a Per Diem/On-Call, 12-Hour Variable Shift position. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually
- 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
Nice To Haves
- Current or previous EMT, Paramedic
- Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate
