Case Aides at our Samaritan's House Emergency Shelter and Genesis House Transitional Housing program, both operating at 156 N. Plymouth Avenue. There, Case Aides support daily (24/7) operations that combine the walk-in accessibility of a traditional emergency shelter with the case management of a transitional housing program that help guests move forward in their journey with God and independent living! Employees provide support and encouragement to our adult guests while maintaining safety and security standards of the Emergency Shelter, so if you have or are interested in peer-to-peer employment opportunities, particularly in the areas of mental health and addiction, we invite you to apply! Likewise, if you are currently in the behavioral health field, and wish to expand your experience within the homeless sub-population we invite you to apply as well! Must be willing to receive training and provide assistant with CPR, First Aid, and Narcan administration as needed. Please be aware that ODM has a mandatory 5-year Employment Verification Process and that before an offer of employment can be provided, you will be asked to provide employer name, employment dates, and contact information for all roles held within the past 5 year. Failure to provide accurate employment information may result in offers of employment to be rescinded. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
