About The Position
The position is for a full-time role in the Emergency Department at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The job requires working 36 hours per week, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday, from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts. The primary responsibilities include assisting physicians and registered nurses in providing technical care to patients, performing tasks such as phlebotomy, IV starts, transporting patients, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe working environment, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring effective communication among healthcare team members. The position requires knowledge of patient care principles across different age groups and the ability to assess and interpret patient data effectively.
