About The Position

YSS is seeking a motivated, supportive, quick thinking, night-owl to join our team as an Overnight Emergency Services Specialist! As an Overnight Emergency Services Specialist, will supervise and care for residential clients during the night and early morning hours, while providing an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. A well-functioning, nightly living routing will be carried out so that all clients can sleep undisturbed, ensuring that clients remain in bed. This individual oversees clients’ rising in the morning and is responsible for house cleaning and laundry. Ensure client safety through active supervision and awareness of whereabouts. Model appropriate behavior, boundaries, and social skills. Manage group dynamics and support daily routines, including mornings, chores, and hygiene. Implement behavior management systems consistently. Provide crisis intervention and coordinate emergency or medical response as needed. Maintain accurate daily logs and complete incident reports. Communicate timely updates to supervisors and on-call staff. Support intake processes, including admissions paperwork and screenings. Respond to referral calls and connect individuals with appropriate services and resources. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment. Conduct safety drills and follow all emergency procedures. Monitor and maintain facility needs and agency vehicles. Follow agency policies and procedures. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members. Attend trainings, meetings, and maintain required certifications. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Two years of related work experience.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
  • Travel is required for this position.
  • For YSS insurance purposes, you must: be 21 years of age, have a current, valid, state-issued, driver’s license, and have a clean driving record.
