About The Position

Be the First Line of Defense on the East Coast's Largest Semiconductor Build. This isn't a desk job. Every shift, you'll step onto one of the most ambitious industrial construction sites in the country — a confidential, large -scale semiconductor facility in Clay, NY — where thousands of workers count on professionals like you to keep them safe. As an Emergency Services Specialist, you're not just responding to incidents. You're leading emergency response, protecting lives, and setting the standard for safety on a project of national significance. If you have the training, the instincts, and the drive to do meaningful work in a high -stakes environment, this is your role.

Requirements

  • Active EMT license (or equivalent) with 2+ years of field experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SAP, Enablon, or similar incident management systems
  • Ability to work 12 -hour rotating shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), transitioning between days and nights every 4 months
  • Physical requirements: standing up to 10 hours/shift, walking 1–5 miles/shift, lifting 25–40 lbs regularly
  • Ability to obtain certifications in SCBA/SKA/APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, and confined space/high -angle rescue

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Services or related field
  • 4+ years of EMT or equivalent emergency field experience
  • 4+ years of experience with enterprise incident tracking systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead emergency response — Take command during medical, chemical, HAZMAT, gas, and rescue incidents.
  • Enforce safety standards — Ensure PPE compliance, LOTO/CoHE procedures, and chemical handling protocols are followed without exception.
  • Stay ahead of hazards — Conduct safety audits and hazard prevention checks before incidents occur.
  • Collaborate cross -functionally — Communicate shift updates, apply JHA/JSA reviews, and work with project teams to resolve safety and equipment issues.
  • Own your equipment — Manage, inspect, and maintain all emergency response tools so they're ready when it matters most.
  • Drive safety culture — Support improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives through data analysis and preventive maintenance.
  • Document with precision — Use Microsoft Office and incident tracking platforms to maintain accurate records and monitor safety trends.
