About The Position

Relocation will not be offered for this position. Purpose: This position will provide pre-hospital care in an industrial setting. They will be responsible for patrolling a location to prevent theft and violence, securing entry points, responding to emergencies, and using a firearm when necessary to protect people and property. The EMT will also be responsible for monitoring surveillance equipment, de-escalating situations, documenting incidents, and maintaining security logs. This position may be required to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with some experience in a law enforcement, industrial security, or EMT role preferred.
- Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification

- Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification

Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical aid in potential dangerous, dynamic environments.
- Assess patients under extreme stress and potential dangerous conditions.
- Provide advanced medical support for other team members.
- Carry and be proficient with a firearm for self-defense and the defense of others.
- Ensure that all medical and rescue operations are conducted safely within an industrial environment.
- Regularly patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to check for hazards, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
- Monitor and secure entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Quickly and effectively respond to alarms, incidents, and threats. This includes using force or a weapon when necessary to regain control or protect others.
- Provide a visible security presence to protect personnel, property, and visitors from harm, harassment, or theft.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and suspicious activity. Report these findings to supervisors.
