Requirements

  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing upon hire or Associate Of Nursing ADN, upon hire or Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire or Masters Of Nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years emergency room RN experience.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire
  • Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
  • Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
  • Serves as an advocated for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients conditions (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
  • Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse to nurse report at the bedside.
