Responsible for contributing to the health of our community by providing quality services in a compassionate and cost-effective manner. Assists in assuring departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory, accreditation and hospital standards of care. Works in collaboration with the Department Managers and Directors to develop and implement integrated policies and procedures. Ensures that standards and policies and procedures are followed in daily practice. Maintains confidentiality of information deemed confidential and takes steps to assure processes that protect confidentiality. Participates in the annual general competency assessment program for all employees and volunteers. Assists in the provision of general nursing services orientation and unit/job specific nursing orientation. Assists in the annual nursing services annual competency based assessment program. #LI-DH
