About The Position

The Emergency Services Director oversees the operations of the Emergency Department (ED) to ensure high -quality, efficient, and patient -centered care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this role involves leadership, strategic planning, budget management, compliance, and staff coordination.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• 5+ years of hospital -based emergency nursing, 3+ years in leadership.
• RN license (GA), BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ENPC), CEN or CEM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ED staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Oversee daily ED operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgeting and financial performance.
• Collaborate with hospital departments and external agencies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Function as a staff nurse when needed.
