  • Communication & Coordination: Answer calls and emergency radio inquiries; contact appropriate personnel. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Support ED evaluations and urgent care needs.
  • Clinical Support: Take vital signs; assist with exams and procedures (e.g., chest tubes, suturing). Set up cardiac monitors; perform BP checks and pulse oximetry.
  • Technical Procedures: Assist with catheterization, phlebotomy, IV starts/removals. Support code situations: CPR, defibrillator use, accurate documentation. Apply 12-Lead EKG.
  • Departmental Support: Maintain unit organization, inventory, and equipment. Perform housekeeping and equipment care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program and Current certification OR current WI EMT-Basic Certification or NREMT
  • CPR Certification Required
  • Relevant emergency care preferred.
