The Emergency Room Tech assumes responsibility for assisting with the implementation of supportive nursing care under the direction of the RN.

Requirements

High School Education or GED equivalent.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS upon hire
CPI within 6 months.
Florida EMT License, National EMT License, or CNA License.
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Duties as assigned to include but not limited to: clerical, courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG's.
Phlebotomy and specific patient care duties
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times
Other duties as assigned including departmental and/or facility based
