Position Summary As an ED Tech, you will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assisting medical providers and licensed nurses in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current AHA BLS CPR Certification required
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • EMT-B, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
  • Acute care experience in an ED setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination needs
  • Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes
  • Perform phlebotomy and EKGs (if certified)
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
  • Stock supplies and ensure equipment readiness
  • Attend dysrhythmia training and pass required assessments
