About The Position

The Emergency Room Tech assumes responsibility for assisting with the implementation of supportive nursing care under the direction of the RN.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS upon hire
• CPI within 6 months.
• Florida EMT License, National EMT License, or CNA License.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Duties as assigned to include but not limited to: clerical, courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG’s.
• Phlebotomy and specific patient care duties
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times
• Other duties as assigned including departmental and/or facility based
