About The Position
Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual's needs. May collect blood samples and process specimens. Maintains a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year healthcare experience is preferred.
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification is preferred.
