Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Collaborates with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.
Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Responds promptly to patient requests and strives to anticipate patient needs.
Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
Prepares patients and families/caregivers for future self-management.

(RN) Registered Nurse
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
