About The Position
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Chippenham Hospital's Level 1 Trauma Center in our Emergency Department, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in Richmond's biggest and busiest Emergency Department. Our newly renovated and state of the art ER has 58 beds with a 40 bed Main ER, 12 bed Pediatric ER, and 6 bed Behavioral Health Intake and sees an average of 280 patients per day. As a member of our Emergency Team you will be working alongside the finest nurses, techs and leaders in the industry. You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs. As a member of this team you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Our nurses serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. As a nurse on our team you will be responsible for coordinating patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
