About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required) OR completion of board-approved paramedic education and training program
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Current licensure held/recognized by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or licensure by Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services required
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
- One to two years ER experience (preferred)
Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family needs for age’s neonate through geriatric
- Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
- Address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers
- Manages patient care assignments and/or additional tasks related to patient and unit operations
- Acting in a clinical leadership role, applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties
