About The Position

Requirements

• Education: RN Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN Preferred)
• Experience: 1+ year of recent acute care ER experience (Required)
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN License in Florida (or ability to obtain before start date)
• BLS Certification (AHA Required, prior to start date)
• ACLS & PALS (Required within 90 days of hire)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Required within 90 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients of all ages in emergency situations
• Perform life-saving interventions, including advanced airway management
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency procedures
• Operate cutting-edge emergency medical equipment
• Coordinate with physicians, paramedics, and healthcare teams for best patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on follow-up care and discharge instructions
