About The Position

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care to patients across the lifespan. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative and supportive emergency department environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience (within the past year)
• ICU or PCU experience may be considered with a strong critical care background
• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• BLS required prior to start
• ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong triage and high-acuity emergency care experience
• Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
• Deliver rapid, evidence-based nursing care in emergent situations
• Manage multiple patients while continuously prioritizing care needs
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up guidance
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
