About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, decision-maker, and multitasker who can adapt to the fast-paced, unpredictable environment of the Emergency Department. You will provide nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill cases, working collaboratively within a supportive team to ensure excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience (Critical Care experience accepted).
• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or approved multistate/compact RN license (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license).
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to start.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of start.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing patient needs.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other departments, maintaining patient safety and focus.
