About The Position

Position Highlights:
Flexible DSS scheduling with various day, evening, and night shifts available.
Dedicated Hospitalist service for admissions and robust subspecialty support at each location.
Integrated Epic EMR system across all clinics and hospitals.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Hourly rate of $285 an hour.
Practice Details:
7 employed physicians in the Emergency Medicine group.
Primary location: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL.
3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on staff.
Shift Structure:
Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM) staffed with 1 physician & 1 APP.
Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM) staffed with 1 nocturnist physician & 1 APP.
Average daily patient encounters: 55.
Average daily admissions at Marion campus: 11.
Referral base: ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers.
Subspecialty support: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Colorectal Surgery, and more.
