About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in Hermitage, TN. In this role, you will provide leadership during the night shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while guiding staff and overseeing daily unit operations. Requirements

• Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state).
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
• ACLS & PALS – Within 1 year of hire
• CPI – Within 6 months of hire
• 3+ years as an RN (ER, ICU, or Psych preferred)
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing – Required

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Prior leadership/charge nurse experience – Preferred
• Trauma experience in a Level III Trauma Center – Preferred
• Charting System: MediTech (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and record patient symptoms and condition changes.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Delegate and oversee tasks, ensuring accountability for patient outcomes.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to care standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
