With competitive pay, great benefits, and endless opportunities, working for the City and County of Denver means seeing yourself working with purpose — for you, and those who benefit from your passion, skills and expertise. Join our diverse, inclusive and talented workforce of more than 11,000 team members who are at the heart of what makes Denver, Denver. At Denver Human Services (DHS), we envision a healthy community where people are connected, supported, safe, and well. One in three people in Denver turn to DHS for support at all stages of life. Our employees help children, at-risk adults, families, and individuals navigate social and economic pressures by connecting them to services and experts who support their overall well-being. Are you a night owl? Do you enjoy working evening hours and having your daytime hours free? Are you prepared to answer the call by helping children and youth be safe and out of harm's way? If you answered "Yes" to the above questions, then you're the type of professional we need to be part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Denver Human Services is seeking a committed, passionate Social Case Worker to serve in the ERT Division of Child Welfare Services and can work the evening and overnight shifts. This Social Case Worker is loyal, willing to go above and beyond minimum expectations to keep children and youth safe, keep well organized and meticulous documentation, computer savvy, excellent communicator, and can thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable, and ever-changing environment.
