About The Position
Corona Animal Emergency Center (CAEC) is a privately owned, fast-growing 24/7 emergency and critical care hospital serving Corona, Norco, and surrounding communities. Our modern facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and surgical suites designed specifically for emergency procedures. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our emergency care team. Requirements
- Active California RVT license or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience (ER or ICU experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, medical math, and patient monitoring
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compassion
Nice To Haves
- Prior emergency or specialty hospital experience
- Advanced anesthesia monitoring and ICU care skills
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming emergency cases and provide critical nursing care
- Place IV catheters, perform phlebotomy, administer medications, and manage fluid therapy
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency and critical care surgeries
- Operate diagnostic equipment and run in-house lab tests
- Accurately document treatments using EzyVet and SmartFlow
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and provide compassionate client education
