About The Position
Our established disaster restoration company is looking for a proactive, confident self-starter to fill the position of Emergency Recovery Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this role is assertive, outgoing, and compassionate, with a strong desire to help others in their time of need. This position requires the candidate to live within Fairfax County or be in close proximity to ensure they can respond to emergency calls within one hour. As an Emergency Recovery Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining existing business relationships and developing new lead generation sources. You will respond to emergencies, offering assistance and support to community members in need, and communicate effectively with affected homeowners to provide information about our services and how we can assist them in getting their lives back to normal. You will also work closely with our Estimators to secure repair and emergency service sales, ensuring a flawless restoration and recovery experience for our customers. This role demands a high level of availability, as you must be on-call 24/7 when scheduled. The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter, capable of generating leads and closing sales. Excellent verbal communication skills and a passion for customer service are essential. Experience in the disaster restoration industry is preferred, and contacts within the insurance restoration and/or property management industry are highly desirable. Knowledge of Xactimate software is a plus, as it will aid in the estimation and restoration process.
