About The Position

Join The VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT Team! VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking a Emergency Patient Care Attendant to join our Emergency Critical Care team within our Specialty, Emergency, and General Practice hospital. Job Description: As an extension of the medical team, the Patient Care Attendant supports the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets. Candidates need to possess strong communication skills, be highly-motivated, and able to handle high volume of tasks. Need to be able to be active throughout the day and lift at least 40 lbs. Applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint
• Cleaning and stocking
• Laundry
• Running in-house lab work
• Assisting with hands-free radiology
• Supporting the team with cleaning instruments
