About The Position

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking a motivated and academically driven Emergency Medicine Resident Fellow to join our dynamic clinical and academic team. This fellowship is designed for physicians who have completed or are nearing completion of an Emergency Medicine residency and are interested in advancing their clinical expertise, teaching skills, and academic career in a high-volume, urban, tertiary care setting. Jefferson Health is one of the largest health systems in the region, serving diverse patient populations across the Delaware Valley and providing access to cutting-edge clinical care, education, and research opportunities. High-acuity, high-volume emergency department (~130,000 annual visits) Epic EMR Collaborative team environment with 55 faculty members and 24 advanced practice clinicians Robust academic environment with a three-year residency program (51 residents) Required Emergency Medicine clerkship for Sidney Kimmel Medical College students Opportunities for mentorship, research, and scholarly activity
