Requirements

  • Active state medical license
  • BC/BE in EM, IM, or FP (ABMS/ABPS)
  • Active DEA Certification
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP (Required); ATLS if not EM -boarded
  • Emergency medicine experience preferred
  • Residency in EM/IM/FP
  • 9 hours trauma CME annually
  • CMEs (past 5 years)
  • Flu shot & TB test
  • Driver’s license & photo ID

Responsibilities

  • Provide full -scope emergency medical care
  • Manage trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and general ED cases
  • Perform intubations and respond to codes
  • Coordinate with specialty backup teams
  • Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary support
