This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Active California medical license or eligibility
- Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Rapidly assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
- Collaborate closely with on-call specialists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
- Participate in Emergency Department quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
- Engage in shared shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
