This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering timely, evidence-based emergency care while contributing to departmental growth, quality improvement initiatives, and a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
  • Active California medical license or eligibility
  • Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
  • Rapidly assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
  • Collaborate closely with on-call specialists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
  • Participate in Emergency Department quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
  • Engage in shared shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
