Emergency Medicine physician Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Emergency Medicine • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Fortuna & Eureka, CA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Jul 20 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Shifts needed to be filled: TBD; To follow • Shift Schedule: Mon-Sun; Mainly nights • Patient Volume: 110 per 24 hrs • 24-hr Support Services: - Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Cath Lab, General Surgery, Lab, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology & Vascular Surgery • L&D Dept: Available • EMR: Epic • Trauma Level: III • Beds in the Dept: 32 • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC (ABEM/ABEOM only)
- BLS/ACLS
- CA DEA
- Immunization records including COVID, TB, Flu etc
- NPDB report
- At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
- Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained
- Must be able to work nights
