About The Position
Join the ERx team in Eastern Washington with this low volume emergency medicine opportunity. Whitman Hospital and Medical Center (WHMC) is a 25 -bed Critical Access Hospital serving rural communities as a Public Hospital District. WHMC is a Level V Trauma Designation that focuses on stabilization and transporting to higher levels of care facilities for trauma. The hospital participates closely with Sacred Heart in Spokane via the Tele Robot for Code Stroke patients. There is also tele -psych through Providence. Colfax is part of The Palouse, which is considered to be one of the seven wonders of Washington State. Abundant outdoor hiking and trails. Farm and land ownership opportunities are plentiful. Close to Pullman/Moscow and Spokane Areas
Requirements
- BC Family or Emergency Medicine
- EM experience required.
- Active Washington Physician license
- Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications (FM)
