About The Position

Talent Consultants is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in delivering high-quality care in fast-paced emergency settings. The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute medical conditions while providing exceptional patient experiences. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state (or ability to obtain one).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
  • Experience in trauma care and familiarity with emergency medical protocols.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to changing clinical situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and triage of patients presenting with diverse medical emergencies.
  • Rapidly stabilize patients and administer necessary treatments, including resuscitation, airway management, and pain control.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare providers to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters and ensure proper follow-up care.
  • Participate in trauma care and manage high-acuity situations, providing leadership within the emergency department.
  • Educate patients and families about injury prevention, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance emergency department performance.
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and standards, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
