Job Title: Physician – Emergency Medicine (ABEM Preferred) Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Booneville, MS Service Setting: Hospital – Emergency Department Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Starting 05/01/2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible Schedule (24 hours physician coverage daily) Requisition Reason: Coverage Patient & Department Information Annual ED Volume: 14,000 visits ED Beds: 10 Acuity Level: Medium Trauma Designation: Level IV Trauma Center Admissions: As required per ED evaluation EMR System: Epic with Dragon dictation Facility Information Accredited by The Joint Commission Recognized with the Quest award for high -value healthcare Offers acute care ER services, surgery, therapy, and rehabilitation Privileges & Credentialing Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Job Requirements BC/BE Active MS license Accepted Specialties: EM, IM, or FM If not ABEM -certified: Must have ACLS, PALS, and ATLS Residents: Accepted with moonlighting approval Case Logs: Required (past 2 years)
