Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Franklin, LA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 04/01/2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Active LA license
- BC or BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Active DEA with LA address
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience
- Willing to work days and nights
- minimum 10–15 shifts per month
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency department coverage for 12 -hour day or night shifts
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the ED
- Coordinate care with specialty backup services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the T System EV EMR
- Participate in interview process with Medical Director and Hospital Administration
