UnityPoint Health – Community Memorial Hospital is a critical access hospital located in a rural setting in Northeast Iowa. The replacement facility was opened in January 2013 and serves as a primary employer in the community. The facility offers inpatient and skilled nursing hospital visits, 24-hour emergency care, lab and radiology, outpatient surgeries and specialty clinics, and therapy services. The hospital includes a medical clinic onsite in addition to a clinic neighboring community. Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

• Level 4 trauma center in critical access hospital
• 3 bed Emergency Department
• Annual visit volume = 1,500
• Spacious physician sleep room
• Care for patients of all ages and a variety of chief complaints
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
