About The Position

Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Potosi, MO Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 12 -hour shifts, 24 -hour physician coverage

Requirements

• Missouri license and DEA required
• BC/BE in Primary Care (not required); EM experience required
• DEA: Required
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS (ATLS only required for Medical Director); must be obtained within 6 months
• Prior EM experience required
• CME from past 2 years
• Procedure logs
• Flu, TB, Medical clearance
• BNDD license
• COVID vaccine or approved exemption
• MMR x2 or titers
• Varicella x2 or titers
• Hepatitis B antibody (quantitative)
• Tdap
• Quantiferon TB or 2 -step PPD (or post -positive CXR)

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 10 -bed ED
• Work 12 -hour shifts with 24 -hour physician coverage
• Treat a range of emergency presentations including trauma, minor care, and triage
• Accept moonlighting residents
• Accurately document care in Power Docs EMR
