Clinical Shift Schedule: Nocturnist Coverage; Flexible Scheduling

Requirements

• Active Mississippi Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Active Mississippi DEA Required
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS Required if Not ABEM Certified
• Minimum 2 Years Emergency Medicine Experience; Case Logs Required
• Must Have State License, Board Certification, and DEA in Hand at Time of Presentation

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a Level III Trauma Center
• Manage high acuity patient cases during nocturnist coverage
• Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary staff
• Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
