About The Position

Outstanding opportunities for high energy, board eligible / certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners with Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP) at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Emergency Department at St. Luke's is one of the busiest in Massachusetts and recently expanded to include an 18 bed Rapid Assessment Zone. It offers a wide range of inpatient medical and surgical services, with expertise in neurosurgery, cardiology, orthopedic and general surgery. The department has a 55 bed full service ED with Level 2 Trauma Accreditation, state-of-the-art trauma room, two negative-pressure decontamination rooms, and a psychiatric observation area with a dedicated ED Behavioral Health Team. The position includes a robust compensation package with quarterly incentive plan distribution, generous pension, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and continuing medical education funding. Requirements

• Residency trained in Emergency Medicine.
• Board eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Massachusetts state licensure.
