About The Position

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in our main Emergency Department in Fort Pierce and free-standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach. The Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center with 100,000 ED visits per year, featuring a 42-bed ED including 5 fast track plus 5 monitored beds, and 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric. The hospital is home to a comprehensive stroke facility and offers a range of emergency services.

Requirements

• Must be board certified or board eligible thru the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
• Must have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Must have completed an EM Residency and Board Certified within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.
• Work 24 hours per month.
• Cover Vero Beach Free Standing Emergency Department.
