About The Position

The Emergency Medicine Physician position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, emphasizing work-life balance. This role does not require nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors while utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, and we offer physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in wound management or related fields.
• Interest in utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Document clinical findings in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
