Emergency Medicine - NP/PA Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Mt Pleasant & Lansing, MI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: January 1, 2026 – April 9, 2026 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Only Shifts needed to be filled: Mt Plesant; -Jan 17/2026 -Apr 9/2026 Lansing; –Jan 28, 2026 –Feb 2,10,27 2026 Shift Schedule: -Mt Pleasant 11a – 9p -Lansing 11a – 11p or 8a– 8p Patient Volume: -Mt Pleasant 20 patients per day -Lansing 110 patients per day (shared among providers) Admissions: -Mt Pleasant 8% -Lansing 20% Physician in Practice: Attending physicians available 24/7, for consultation Support Staff: 1 full -time NP, 2 PRN PAs Specialty Backup: Ortho, OB, General Surgery, Neuro, Urology Case Mix: Emergency Medicine Beds in the Dept: Mt pleasnt25, Lansing 50 Trauma Level: IV EMR: Cerner Other Info: – APP works autonomously with physician available on site Annual ED volume: –Mt Pleasant 20,000 –Lansing 40150 –ED staff respond to house codes –Paramedic/ambulance radio supervision required Malpractice insurance covered
