About The Position

HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their team. This role involves providing care in a busy emergency department, with a focus on delivering high-quality medical services to patients in need of urgent care. The position requires candidates to have current experience in emergency medicine as an Advanced Practice Provider.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current experience in an emergency department as an Advanced Practice Provider.
• 1-2 years of specific Emergency Medicine APP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 37 patients per day in a 20-bed emergency department.
• Participate in the education and training of medical students and other healthcare providers.
