About The Position

HCA Florida Aventura is seeking Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (PA's) and Nurse Practitioners (NP's) for PRN positions to join a premier practice in South Florida. This role involves working in a Level II Trauma Center that treats over 60,000 patients annually, providing critical care and support in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in emergency medicine or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hospitalists.
• Utilize the EMR system (Meditech Pdoc with M-Modal) for patient documentation and management.
• Participate in the hospital's Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
